This book was just as great as the first one. There is so much action and mystery I love it! One thing I am getting tired (and not just in this book) are love triangles. Eventually I realize in this book why the love triangle is happening and what is going on, but I still feel like every book needs a love triangle since the Twilight series. Anyways, I gave this 4 stars because of the ending. I really disliked what happened at the end and to me it just really didn't conclude the story. I understand that this is a series but it wasn't that much of a cliffhanger either. I like leaving a book satisfied but I guess since it's a series I need to wait for the next one :) One thing Tricia Rayburn really knows how to describe are make-out scenes and the feelings the characters have for one another. You really feel like your in Vanessa's body experiencing what is happening or feeling. This is really a great read!
