Nightshade: Book 1
I loved this book! It definitely lives up to the hype. I was scared it wasn't going to be as good as everyone said it was. It's filled with love, adventure, and mystery. I got scared and nervous and happy! Although, at some times it did get confusing for me but I really think that's just because I've been reading really late at night and kind of skimmed a few parts.Calla is an amazing character. I feel like she's really mature and understand the role she has in her life. Sometimes she did bother me when she couldn't make up her mind, but in her situation I wouldn't know what to do either and she was very strong. On to the boys: oh goodness. I love them. One of them in particular. It was hard to choose which one I really liked, but I eventually chose one and I'm sticking with him!! I highly suggest you read this book so you can choose a boy as well. The ending wasn't my favorite. I wish it ended a little stronger, but it was definitely a cliffhanger for the next book which I can't wait to read and find out more.
The cover: One of my favorites. I love the purple and the sparkles. I really wish I could see the other half of her face. Nightshades must be so gorgeous.
